Komatsu Debuts 13 New Machines at bauma
Among the 13 premieres is the all-new, PC220LCi-12. Building upon Komatsu’s decade of
experience, and millions of operating hours in integrated machine control technology, this
excavator offers customers new, completely unique, iMC 3.0 features. In addition to setting
new standards of productivity and efficiency, the machine benefits from a completely new
cab design focused on maximizing operator comfort, and seamless connectivity solutions
make digital jobsite transformation even easier. Komatsu invites all visitors to experience its
innovative features firsthand by attending the live demonstration in the outdoor area.
Another highlight are the new Dash 11 wheel loaders WA475-11 and WA485-11, developed
by Komatsu Ltd. and manufactured at Komatsu Germany GmbH – Construction Division
(Hannover). These two new models are packed with unmatched power and fuel efficiency,
enabled by a powerful, high-torque engine with an HMT transmission. The wheel loader also
features significantly increased payload and bucket capacity, meeting EU Stage V emissions
standards with a long-lasting diesel particulate filter. Komatsu invites visitors to experience
spacious and ergonomic, equipped with adjustable controls, and an airsuspended seat.
Looking at larger class wheel loaders, visitors will also have the chance to witness, for the
first time after a decade of development, the reinvented WA700-8. See it in action alongside
its perfect partner, the 60-tonne HD605-10 rigid dump truck, in a dynamic live demonstration.
Komatsu promises that this gentle giant will excite any operator with its comfortable cabin,
unparalleled levels of safety, unrivalled power and stability, substantial load capacity and
bucket volume, and impeccable environmental credentials.
Komatsu highly recommends every visitor to reserve a timeslot during their visit to bauma for
our electrically powered PC7000-11E hydraulic mining excavator in backhoe configuration,
that will be in action demonstration. With over 40 years of pioneering innovation in electric-
Public driven hydraulic mining excavators, Komatsu Germany GmbH – Mining Division (Düsseldorf)
is proud to present this electrically powered excavator that merges the powerful digging
force of high-performance diesel machines with the lower carbon footprint of an electrically
powered machine. Built to endure the toughest mining operations, the PC7000-11E
represents exceptional durability, reliability and performance.
Komatsu mining experts will be present at outside booth FM713/1, where they will be
demonstrating their technology and how it helps the mining industry meet emission reduction
goals while maintaining operational efficiency.
Coming from mining to urban environment, Komatsu is pleased to present a new 4-tonne
skid steer loader and 5-tonne compact track loader. Both machines deliver one of the
highest operating capacities in the category, merged with superior lifting capacity, breakout
and traction force, meeting the evolving needs of our customers.
Additionally, Komatsu is unveiling a 7.5-tonne tight-tail midi excavator, designed to bridge
the gap below mid-sized wheeled excavators. This compact machine offers easy and
precise operation with any attachment, exceptional road handling, and a super-compact size
ideal for urban environments.
All three machines are proudly designed and manufactured at Komatsu Italia Manufacturing
